Osteopath Singapore

The practice of osteopathy is include
diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of disorders and conditions relating to the musculoskeletal system, in addition to how they are linked to the body’s health as a whole and the general wellbeing of the patient.
By combining conventional medical assessment and diagnosis with a focus on the inherent healing functions of the body, osteopathy aims to avoid the use of medication or surgical procedures.  Where possible by helping the body repair damage naturally, practitioners aim to help the musculoskeletal system regain strength to treat current conditions and to prevent issues in the future.
Because osteopaths are trained in a variety of hands-on treatments they commonly address a broad range of conditions, including:
	•	Headaches and migraines
	•	Back and neck pain
	•	Sports injuries (includes rehabilitation)
	•	Postural problems

	•	Visceral complaints including digestion problems
	•	Breathing dysfunctions (such as asthma, COPD, coughing, sighing, wheezing, breathlessness, sleep apnea); poor blood circulation; reflux; constipation; and sexual dysfunctions
